Life term for four in rape case
Sasaram, Jun 22 (UNI) Additional District and Sessions Judge Virendra Kumar Srivastav awarded life imprisonment to four accused in connection with a rape case.
The convicts included Altaf Ahmad, Umesh Sah, Mushtaque Ahmad and Wajid Ansari. The court exonerated another accused for want of proof yesterday.
The accused had abducted the daughter of one Lallan Paswan from Sukahradih village under Nasriganj police station area in the district and left her near Dehri-On-Sone railway station after outraging her modesty.
The father of the victim had lodged an FIR at Nasriganj police station against the five named accused.
