Fire breaks out in Telugu daily's printing press

Hyderabad, Jun 22 (UNI) Newsprint and printing machines were gutted in a fire that broke out at the printing press of Telugu daily ''Prajashakthi'', the party organ of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), at RTC cross roads area in the city today.

Police said the fire broke out in a room and spread to other areas where newsprint and printing machines were located. Four fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.

Police suspect that short circuit could have led to the blaze.
