Eunuchs tonsure three youths in Haryana

Hisar, June 22 (UNI) A group of local eunuchs today caught hold of three unemployed youths of Madhya Pradesh and had their heads shaved as they were found guilty of 'straying into eunuch territory and affecting their livelihood'.

The three youths hailing from Indore district, masquerading like eunuchs were collecting money from the residents of Sector-14 in the town when they were nabbed by the 'real' eunuchs. The three youths were wearing saris and claimed that they had been assigned the task of collecting money from the Sector-14 locality.

The eunuchs thrashed the three youths accusing them of infringing on their territory and affecting their livelihood. The enunuchs claimed that for the last few weeks these youths had been collecting money on the occasion of marriages, births of sons and during other functions.

Eunuch leader and Municipal Councillor, Shobha Nehru ordered that as a punishment the heads of three youths be shaved. After tonsuring them, they were warned and let off.

The three who accepted their offence were from Sadalpur village in Indore district. They revealed that they had taken to this 'profession' as they were unemployed.

Ms Nehru said that as the three youths were affecting their livelihood they had decided to deploy some informers in the posh localities to nab them.
