Dera Chief likely to be shifted to another place
Mysore, June 22 (UNI) The Chief of controvertial religious cult Dera Sacha Sauda, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has arrived here and is staying at his local Ashram on the Bangalore-Mysore state highway and likely to be shifted soon.
Police sources told UNI that the Dera Chief, who was sent to Bangalore yesterday following protests in Mumbai against the killing of a Sikh protestor by his body guard, was staying at the Ashram near Siddalingapura amidst high security.
Police has beefed up the security following threats to his life from the Sikh community.
Baba arrived from Pune by a flight here last evening.
The entry of visitors, even media has been banned at the Ashram.
The Dera Chief was here in April last.
Baba arrived in the city in a bullet proof car under high police escort to his local unit at Siddalingapura. He is likely to be shifted from the city any time to an undisclosed destination for security reasons, the sources added.
