ATS takes Nagori, 3 others into custody

Mumbai, Jun 22 (UNI) The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Mumbai Police today took custody of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) leader Safdar Nagori and three others from the Madhya Pradesh police for their alleged involvement in the 7/11 Mumbai serial blasts.

Nagori was arrested in Madhya Pradesh and booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

The SIMI leader's name came out after the ATS interrogated Ihtesaam, one of the key accused in the serial blasts that rocked the city in 2006.
