3 accused held in ex-UP minister's nephew murder

Jaunpur, Jun 22 (UNI) Police today apprehended three people for their alleged involvement in the murder of former Uttar Pradesh minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Shailendra Yadav's nephew, here.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandra Prakash said, ''Rishikesh Yadav, the 22-yr-old nephew of the SP leader, was gunned down by armed assailants over a personnel enmity on June 19.'' The police nabbed Jangbahadur Yadav, Ajeet Yadav and Santosh Kumar Yadav near Chiraiya crossing and also recovered the weapon used in murder, the SP informed.

The arrested would be slapped with the National Security Act (NSA), he added.
