Youth kills mother, cousin in Nashik

Nashik, Jun 21: In a bizarre incident, a youth killed his mother and cousin in Manmad town of the district.

Rahul Ramchandra Bhabad (23) killed his mother Asha by strangulating her with a nylon rope, at his residence in Savarkar Nagar of Hudco, yesterday. Later, Rahul took his 9-year-old cousin, Rishikesh Bhabad to his residence in Kumbharwada and killed him with a wire, sources said.

After committing the crime, the accused confessed it to the police, they added.

The exact reason behind the crime has not been ascertained yet but prima facie some family dispute seems to be the reason behind the twin murder.
