UPA Govt to complete full-term: Sushilkumar Shinde
Pune, Jun 21 (UNI) Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde today said the UPA Government will complete its full-term, even after the withdrawal of support by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.
Speaking at a function organised by Astrological Society of Pune here, Mr Shinde said the Central government should not be held responsible for the energy crisis in Maharashtra. The Centre has always supported the state regarding the power proposal, he added.
Asked about the ''ruckus'' during the meeting of Congress workers in the presence of Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Mumbai on June 19, he said the government has instituted an inquiry into the incident.
On change of leadership in the state, Mr Shinde said the party would decide on it at an appropriate time.
