Three member commmitee to analyse CEO SASB press conference
Srinagar, Jun 21 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today constituted a three-member committee to analyse the evidence of the press conference of Dr Arun Kumar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) on the transfer of land to board issue.
Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad this evening has directed for constitution of a three-member committee comprising Financial Commissioner Coordination, New Delhi, S S Sahni, Principal Secretary Social Welfare Department, Dr R K Jerath, and Commissioner/Secretary General Administration Department, Basharat Ahmad Dhar, all IAS officers.
The committee has been directed to analyse the evidence, including video and audio-tapes of the press briefing given by Principal Secretary to Governor and CEO of SASB Dr Arun Kumar, IAS, on 17th June 2008 with a view to reporting whether prima-facie the officer has violated the provisions of All India Services (Conduct) Rules and accordingly recommend further action in the matter.
The committee has been asked to submit its report to the Government within one week.
