Ram Rahim issue: SAD calls emergency meeting

Chandigarh, Jun 21 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal today convened an emergency meeting of the Core Committee of the party on Monday to discuss the situation in the wake of the killing of a Sikh protestor in firing by the securitymen guard of Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh in Mumbai yesterday.

A party release said the meeting would be held on June 23 at 1000 hrs in Chandigarh. Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would also attend the meeting.
