MP Minister warns leaving his department
Tikamgarh, MP, June 21 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister Akhand Pratap Singh today said he would even consider leaving his department if action was not taken against the Food and Civil Supplies Commissioner for not following his orders.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh admitted that the Public Distribution System was not working efficiently in his native village. He said he wanted to improve this but was not able to do so.
Earlier, he raided 22 ration shops along with Food department officials and sealed 20 shops on the charge of irregularities related to foodgrain distribution.
