Lok Sabha elections would be held as per schedule:Paswan
Patna, Jun 21 (UNI) Steel and Fertiliser Minister and LJP Chief Ramvilas Paswan today reiterated that Lok Sabha elections would be held as per schedule dismissing all speculations on mid-term poll in the country.
Mr Paswan told reporters here that there was no basis for speculation on mid term poll in the country and those engaged in such games were doing so for their political advantage.''All UPA partners are solidly behind Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on nuclear deal with US,'' he said adding there should not be confusion over the matter.
''Our party will contest the Lok Sabha elections on its own in Bihar,'' Mr Paswan said adding the enouragement exhibited by the party workers during recent organisational elections had given enough confidence to him to take such decision.
Meanwhile, LJP youth wing vice president Neelam Sinha alleged that Nitish Kumar government had failed to provide employments to youths of the state and they were forced to migrate to other parts of the country in search of their livelihood. The NDA government had failed to utilise the fund provided by the Centre for execution of various development and welfare schemes in the state, she added.
