Groundnutseed, its oil flat; refined palm oil down

Mumbai, Jun 21 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed and its oil remained flat today on moderate demand by stockists, while refined palm oil further fell because of sluggish demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils, groundnut oil, mowra, neem and karanji remained flat, while refined palm oil and soyabean ref declined by Rs 4 and Rs 8 per ten kg respectively.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed, sunflower seed and castorseed in Bombay remained steady.

Javas 80/90 rose by Rs 25 per quintal, while kardiseed eased by Rs 100 per quintal owing absence of demand.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonnes), groundnut extra and kardi extra dropped by Rs 100 per tonne, traders added.
