Downfall of UPA has started: Naidu

Palakkad, Kerala, Jun 21: BJP senior leader and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday, June 21 said the downfall of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has started and it would fall by August.

Talking to newspersons here, he added that the UPA government would last till August and by November, Lok Sabha elections would take place.

Faulting the Centre for inflation, Mr Naidu said it was not due to global phenomenon but because of the wrong policies of the Centre.

Noting the BJP would oppose the nuclear treaty with the us the BJP leader said the party would not go for any agreement with any one unless it was good for the nation.

He also informed that candidates for the Lok Sabha would almost be finalised by August.
