DMK MP slips, sustains injury while alighting from plane

Chennai, Jun 21 (UNI) DMK Lok Sabha Member C Kuppuswamy sustained a minor injury at the back of his head after he slipped from the staircase while alighting from an aircraft at the airport here last night.

Airport sources said Mr Kuppuswamy arrived here from New Delhi by an Indian flight at 2025 hrs, an hour behind schedule.

While getting down, he slipped and fell from the stairs sustaining a minor bleeding injury at the back of his head, they added.

A medical team at the airport immediately gave him treatment after which he left for his residence, the sources informed.
