DIOS murder accused surrenders before court
Jaunpur, Jun 21 (UNI) Anjini Srivastava, the prime accused in District Inspector of School (DIOS) murder case today surrendered in Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court.
CJM R K Singh sent him to jail in judicial custody till July 4.
On May 28, DIOS Dinesh Chandra Pandey was shot dead at his work place.
A named FIR was lodged against Raja Sri Krishan Dutt college teacher Anjini Srivastava, BJP leader Sri Prakash Singh and power department employee Jitendra Prajapati.
Police had arrested and sent to jail the BJP leader and the government employee a fortnight ago.
Uttar Pradesh Polisce Special Task Force was investigating the case and putting all efforts to nab the main accused Anjini, who was at large since the murder day.
