CR to operate mega block on tomorrow

Mumbai, Jun 21 (UNI) Central Railway (CR) will operate a mega block on Up and Down Harbour Line, one each, between Kurla and Vashi stations from 1115 hrs to 1615 hrs on tomorrow.

All Down Harbour Line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) for Vashi, Belapur and Panvel from 1019 hrs to 1549 hrs will remain cancelled, a release issued here today stated.

All Up Harbour Line services for CST leaving Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1028 hrs to 1608 hrs will remain cancelled.

CR will operate special locals on CST-Kurla-CST and Panvel-Vashi-Panvel sections at a frequency of around 20 to 25 minutes on Harbour line in the block duration.

Harbour Line services to Bandra or Andheri and back will run as per the schedule on the day.

Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via Vashi-Thane section on their valid card or season tickets from 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs during the block.

The block will also be operated on Up Fast Line between Kalyan and Thane stations from 1030 hrs to 1600 hrs and the Up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 1030 hrs to 1543 hrs will be diverted on Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations and will halt at all stations between Kalyan and Thane stations, the release added.
