Assembly Session in Kerala to begin on Jun 23
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 21: A month-long session of the Kerala Assembly, mainly to discuss in detail the Budget proposals, will begin here on June 23.
Speaker K Radhakrishnan told newspersons today that there would be 23 days sitting during the session which would conclude on July 24.
This would be the eighth session of the 12th Kerala Assembly. In the previous session, the Budget and vote-on-account for the first four months of the financial year were introduced.
He said though 16 Ordinances had to be replaced by bills, the House would take up only two bills for consideration due to paucity of time.
