All villages in Gujarat to get internet connectivity

Ahmedabad, Jun 21 (UNI) Continuing with its efforts to bring in transparency in the administration, Gujarat health minister Jaynarayan Vyas today said all the 18,000 villages in the state will soon get internet connectivity.

Addressing a national seminar on ''I-T governance and chartered Accountants'' said here today, Mr Vyas said more than 7,000 villages in the state have been already connected with the internet.

Gujarat villages will also get benefits of new technology in the form of ''Tele-medicine'', he added.
