4 killed, 6 injured as ambulance falls into river
Kozhikode, Jun 21 (UNI) Four people drowned and six sustained injuries when the ambulance in which they were travelling rolled down into a river early today.
The accident occurred when the ambulance carrying a body from Bangalore fell into the river after hitting the railings of the bridge in Pattiyatt near Nadapuram in this district, police said.
The deceased were identified as Dasan, Anitha, Leela and Vijesh.
The injured were admitted at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, police added.
