UK's stay-at-home mums are nation's biggest walkers
London, June 20 : Britain's stay-at-home mums are the nation's biggest walkers, a new research has found.
In their day-to-day routine, they cover 21.9 miles a week - 1,139 miles a year.
Estate agents are the second-most foot weary at 21 miles a week.
Receptionists are the least, walking 2.5 miles a week, whereas security guards are the second least at five.
Pedometers were fitted to people in different jobs in a study for new health management game 'My Health Coach: Manage Your Weight'.
"Some of us at least are putting in the legwork," The Sun quoted TV health specialist Dr Christian Jessen, as saying.
