Two killed,one injured in cylinder blast in icecream factory
Sekhpura(South Bihar), Jun 20 (UNI) Two workers of a local icecream factory were killed and its owner was seriously injured when a cylinder filled with ammonium nitrate exploded inside the factory premises here this morning, police said.
They said the accident occurred when the three were inspecting the cylinder for a possible leak and it suddenly exploded killing the two-Shafique Khan and Indradeb Shah- on the spot and seriously injuring Chiku Singh.
Twelve other employees who were also working nearby fell ill on inhaling the suffocating gas and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
They were, however, released after first aid.
Soon police arrived on the spot and sealed off the entire area as a precautionary measure.
None has been arrested so far, sources added.
