Taiwan company to set up manufacturing base in AP
Hdyerabad, Jun 20 (UNI) Mei Ta Group, a Taiwan based company, today signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government for setting up an auto component manufacturing base at Naidupet industrial park.
The MoU was signed by Mei Ta Group Chairman Chen Yu San and state Prinicipal Secretary to Industries Sam Bob in the presence of Chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
The company has proposed to invest Rs 600 crore in a phased-manner to provide 5000 direct and 15,000 indirect jobs. About 230 acres of land was alloted for the project, an official release said here.
