Rupee opens high at 42.92 against per USD
Mumbai, Jun 20 (UNI) Rupee today opened higher at 42.92 against per USD with a small gain of four paise from it last close of 42.96, on modest dollar purchased by importers.
Later, it fluctuated in a narrow range between 42.92 and 42.96 per USD during the mid-session.
Rupee was barely moved on Friday and held near 43 against the dollar, as investors waited for weekly inflation data, expected to clock in at 13-year highs and provoke a fresh round of policy tightening, a leading dealer said.
