Ramai Ram challenges Paswan to contest the election at his own

Patna, Jun 20 (UNI) Challenging LJP chief and Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan to contest the election either from Hajipur Lok Sabha seat or from any other constituency in the country, RJD vice president and former Bihar Minister Ramai Ram today said he would defeat Mr Paswan in the election.

Mr Ram told newspersons here that it was great irony that leader like Mr Paswan who tasted the victory with the help of RJD was now talking to go to the polls all alone. Describing Mr Paswan as an ''opportunist,'' Mr Ram said that Mr Paswan always promoted his relatives and near and dear ones in the politics and by handing over the charges of the LJP state president to his brother Pashupati Kumar Paras he proved his ''lust'' for his relatives.

Mr Ram further castigated Mr Paswan for removing Ghulam Rasool Balyavi from the post of the LJP state president saying it had been done under a ''well knit conspiracy'' and this move of Mr Paswan was an open testimony of his attitude towards minorities. Mr Paswan was ''misleading'' the minorities and the real face of the LJP leader was ''exposed,'' he alleged.

Mr Ram sarcastically suggested Mr Paswan to nominate his wife Reena Paswan as national president of LJP women cell and his son Chirag as national president of the youth wing of the party.He further alleged that by deceiving his friend Ranjan Yadav, Mr Paswan managed a seat of the state legislative council for his ''samdahan'' (Mother in law of his daughter)Dr Jyoti.

Mr Ram dubbed Mr Paswan a great'' cheater'' who was trying to cheat Sonia Gandhi just like he deceived the leaders like Karpoori Thakur, V.P.Singh, I.K.Gujral, H.D.Devegawada, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sharad Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav.
