Islamabad, Jun 20 (UNI) Chief of Pakistan Peoples Party and main leader of coalition government, Asif Ali Zardari has said although PPP does not accept President Pervez Musharraf as constitutional head of the state, but indeed he is sitting in Presidency as a reality.
In an interview with a private TV channel, Zardari said, ''I have told friends that Pervez Musharraf is a ground reality. After all, PPP's Prime Minister is working with him and he is sitting as President of Pakistan.'' Mr Zardari said the PPP launched campaign against him. It was the PPP which raised slogans against the President, adding, ''The Parliament would decide the future of President Musharraf in due course of time.'' He said the government became more strengthened rather than becoming weak after long march of lawyers for reinstatement of judges.
The PPP chief said Aitzaz Ahsan led the long march against the party's policy, but the PPP has not issued show-cause notice to him on this gross violation.
He added the issue of protective custody of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was created by the previous government and its continuity was still there. But Mr Zardari assured that he would resolve the issue.
