Power failure in Nashik city due to technical snag

Nashik, Jun 20 (UNI) Many places in the city and its adjoining areas experienced power failure today, following a technical snag in a transformer.

Most parts of the city experienced power failure since 0635 hrs due to breakdown in the Remond-Ambad line. The breakdown tripped a 200 MV transformer of the Maharashtra state electricity transmission company that supplies power to Satpur area of the city, while the work to switch on the breaker was in progress.

Meanwhile, power had been restored by 1500 hrs in many parts of the city.
