Naval exercise in Kakinada on June 24
Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 20 (UNI) Naval exercises will be held off Kakinada coast on June 24 with the participation of naval helicopters, warships and naval commandos.
Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju, along with Naval Chief would view the naval exercise being organised for the first time in this port city.
Prior to naval exercises to demonstrate the naval power, Mr Raju will lay the foundation stone for the Naval enclave along the beach road near Vakalapudi on the city outskirts.
East Godavari Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi, who discussed the arrangements for the event with naval officers and district officials here today told newspersons that seating arrangement were being made for 1,000 people.
