Jammu, Jun 20 (UNI) Shiv Sena (Hindustan) president Pawan Kumar Gupta today alleged that the Jammu and Kashmir government is 'politicising' the Amarnath yatra and plotting to 'disrupt' the pilgrimage so that least number of pilgrims visit the holy cave situated in South Kashmir.

''Rumours are being spread one way or the other by various agencies in the state government in a bid to impact the Amarnath Yatra. They want very few pilgrims visiting Amarnath to pay obeisance to the natural ice-lingam,'' Mr Gupta alleged at a press conference here.

He said his party has decided to raise its voice against the nefarious designs of political leaders and organisations, who are trying to upset the annual pilgrimage.

''Nationwide protest will be launched if Jammu and Kashmir leaders do not stop 'politicising' the holy pilgrimage while a signature campaign will also be initiated to unite Hindus on a single platform to fight anti-national elements,'' he added.
