Madhya Pradesh: Former Congress MLA died
Shajapur(MP), Jun 20: Former Congress MLA Manohar Singh died at a hospital at Indore after prolonged illness. He was 60. Mr Singh, who was elected to the Assembly from Gulana constituency of this district in 1998, is survived by his wife and two sons.
He was ailing for a long time and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital at Indore yesterday. His funeral is scheduled at his native village Bolai today. Associated with the cooperative movement for a long time, Mr Singh was President of the District Cooperative Bank for two decades.
Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and MPCC President Suresh Pachouri have expressed their condolences over the death of the former legislator.
