CCTV cameras to eye on terrorist activity in Ram Janambhoomi
Ayodhya, Jun 20 (UNI) In wake of the recent terrorist attacks, 40 Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras will be installed in the premises of the disputed structure here.
After a called for the security of Ram Janmbhoomi here, IG Lucknow Zone A K Jain today told newsmen that 40 CCTV cameras will be installed in the area and Special Operation Group (SOG) will be provided with facilities such as mobile phones, water-see-through mirrors, bullet proof vehicles and bomb detectors, to deal with the terrorist threats.
Besides, barricading of watch tower and other prime areas would also be done.
In order to maintain proper vigil at night, stadium lights will be installed in the premises.
Divisional Commissioner Faizabad and disputed structure receiver Rajiv Kumar, DIG B P Tripati, ADIG Atul Kumar, CRPF commandant R K S Chauhan, SSP R K S Rathore and DM Anil Garg were present in the meeting.
