BSP announces candidate for Gorakhpur seat in LS poll
Gorakhpur, Jun 20 (UNI) The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Uttar Pradesh today declared former Minister Harishankar Tiwari's son Vinay Shankar Tiwari as its candidate from Gorakhpur constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha election here.
PWD Minister and senior BSP leader Naseemuddin Siddhiqui here said it is the trend in the party that a person, made in charge of the constituency, is also selected as its representative.
Hence, Mr Tiwari, who was made the in charge of Gorakhpur constituency was selected as the candidate for the parliamentary election from the same constituency.
