BJP MP seeks CBI inquiry against Assam Minister
New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bihar Sukdeo Paswan today urged the Government to institute a CBI inquiry against Assam Health Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma for his alleged asociation with the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA).
Talking to newspersons, Mr Paswan alleged that Mr Sharma was twice arrested in Assam, once at Pann Bazar and the second time at Chandmari, for his alleged link with the ULFA. ''However, once he became the minister, he systematically removed all his police records so that in future nobody could arrest him for his connections,'' he added.
