AR opens computer centre for villagers
Imphal, Jun 20 (UNI) The Assam Rifles(AR) has opened its Library cum Computer Centre and Multipurpose Community Hall for the locals of N Mongjang and Chikim Veng village of Moreh in Chandel district.
Announcing this yesterday, IGAR(S) Maj Gen A K Chaudhary emphasised the need for unity among people of all religions and cultures for promoting peace and harmony.
He assured that AR would always extend its support and cooperation in this regard.
The PRO of AR today said it was under the civic action programme that aimed at helping the locals in the remote areas of Manipur.
