AIFB blames UPA Govenment for rise in inflation
New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) has blamed the UPA government's wrong polices for the current situation of double digit inflation.
The party in a release issued here today has alleged that the UPA government has failed miserably to contain the soaring inflation.
The double digit inflation is due to the wrong economic management of the UPA government. The governemnt has totally ignored the suggestions made by the Left Parties to contain inflation and price rise.
The dour attitude of Finance Minister P Chidambaram against the suggestions of the Left parties has put the country into such economic turmoil, it said. .
The statement said while people are suffering due to price rise, the government is terming it a global phenomenon and asking the people to wait. It is absurd and a cruel joke. The government is playing with the miseries of the people. The steps so far taken by the government to contain the inflation through RBI are cosmetic the statement added.
