Advanta India Acquires Sunflower Seed Biz Of Limagrain, USA

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) Advanta India today said it has acquired the sunflower seed business of US based Limagrain. The business is mainly focused on sunflower breeding programme, based in Fargo, ND, US.

The business has been breeding and marketing sunflower hybrids for both the domestic and international markets using a multi channel, private label marketing and distribution model, a company statement said.

This acquistion will further strengthen the company's already existing sunflower breeding programmes across the world, it added.
