3-year-old dies in suicide attempt by family, neighbour

Ahmedabad, Jun 20 (UNI) A three-year-old child died in a suicide attempt by four members of a family and their neighbour, in the Hatkeshwar area of the city today.

Rajesh Kantilal Patel(34), gave poison to his wife Smita (32) and two sons Kishan (3) and Prince (6). Sarika Patel (22), who lived in the neighbourhood, also consumed poison alongwith the family, police said.

The reason for the family as well as Sarika joining the suicide bid, is being investigated by police.

All of them were shifted to a hospital, where Kishan died, while the four others are battling for life.
