2 smugglers held with drugs
Basti, Jun 20: The Special Operation Group (SOG) of Uttar Pradesh police in association with local sleuths arrested two persons possessing pyschotropic substance here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Gupta said the smugglers were arrested yesterday on Basti-Ganeshpur road.
900 gm heroin and 500 gm ganja were seized from them, the SP said adding, the packets of heroin carried a tag of ''Made in Afghanistan.'' The smugglers have been sent to jail.
