10 killed, equal number injured in bus accident
Dehra Dun, Jun 20 (UNI) At least 10 people were killed and an equal number injured when the bus they were traveling in fell into a deep trench near Nainital district this morning.
According to Nainital District Police, the Kumaon Transport Union bus was on its way from Haldwani to Ranikhet when it fell into a deep trench at around 08:30 hrs.
Police said 10 passengers died on the spot and 10 sustained injuries.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, rescue operations were underway.
