Pak mishandled post 9/11 US funds Pak journalist

Washington/ Rawalpindi, June 14, 2008: Pakistani journalist Ahmed Rashid accused Pakistan of mishandling the funds provided by United States post 9/11 attacks. Rashid is the author of Descent Into Chaos,a book on how the US ally Pakistan has armed and financed the Taliban after the US invasion of Afghanistan.

The author observed that Pakistan misused the funds for bolstering their forces against India instead of putting them to constructive use.
