South West Monsoon weak over Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 19: The South West Monsoon was weak over Kerala and Lakshadweep during the last 24 hours.

Local weather office said Kozhikode reported isolated heavy rainfall of nine cm. Koyilandy and Thalassery recorded rainfall of six cm each, Kannur and Karippur Airport five each, Aluva, Perinthalmanna, Thrissur and Vaikkom four each.

It said rain or thundershower would occur at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
