Six given life imprisonment for killing CRPF jawan
Arrah, Jun 19 (UNI) A local fast track court today sentenced six accused to rigorous life imprisonment on charges of killing a CRPF jawan three years ago.
Official sources said local fast track court Judge Ujjal Kumar Dubey, after a prolonged hearing sent all the six accused to rigorous life imprisonment apart from imposing a fine of Rs 25,000 each, holding them responsible for killing CRPF jawan Nilesh Pandey on September 23, 2005, following some altercation.
In case of non-payment of the fine the convicts would have to serve for three more months in jail,the sources said.
