SI among 3 Haryana cops dismissed for graft
Chandigarh, Jun 19 (UNI) The Haryana Police has dismissed a Sub-Inspector, an Assistant Sub-Inspector and a Head Constable, on charges of corruption.
Director General of Police (DGP) Ranjeev Dalal today said Sub-Inspector Risal Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ishwar Singh and Head Constable Rattan Singh had been dismissed with immediate effect.
He said these policemen had tarnished the image of the Haryana Police and legal action would be taken against them.
Mr Dalal said Head Constable Rattan Singh, posted in district Jind, had been arrested. ASI Ishwar Singh, also posted in district Jind, and SI Risal Singh, posted in Mewat district, were still absconding.
He said efforts were on to nab them at the earliest.
