The Queen grooves to Abba's Dancing Queen
London, June 19 : The Queen left guests at a Windsor Castle party stunned by strutting her stuff to an Abba disco classic, Dancing Queen.
The 82-year-old monarch boogied when the Swedish group's classic tune came on at the end of a dinner dance, DJ Chris Evans revealed.
On his Radio 2 show, Evans claimed that a pal was at the dinner dance to witness it.
"The meal was had, the speeches were made and then the disco commenced," the Mirror quoted him, as saying.
"Apparently, she loves to get down on the dancefloor.
"And what was the song being played? It was Dancing Queen by Abba. She was on the floor and everybody said, 'My goodness me, there is the Dancing Queen,'" he added.
The presenter said the Queen told guests around her: "I always try to dance when this song comes on because I am the Queen and I like to dance."
