Nothing will move on nuclear deal under warring UPA: BJP
New Delhi, Jun 19 (UNI) Hitting out at the predicament of the ruling UPA combine where they are unable to take a decision on the Indo-US nuclear deal, the BJP today said nothing would move in view of the open differences between the 'opportunist Congress' and coloured Left parties.
Asked to comment on the optimistic feelings expressed in the ruling circles that they would find a 'middle of the road solution', BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said their fight was nothing but a 'sort of WWF' intended to keep their constituencies happy. ''The Congress party doesn't take decision because they don't wish to lose power while the Left doesn't want to upset the ruling alliance.
''As far as the BJP is concerned, national interest is supreme.
Our opposition is only because the signing of 123 Agreement would foreclose the options of conducting any future tests that may be needed. We have no untouchables be it United States or China.
National interest is of utmost priority for the BJP,'' he said.
