Nitish government is anti-poor: Rajak
Patna, Jun 19(UNI) Rashtriya Janta Dal(RJD) General secretary and spokesman Shyam Rajak today charged the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar with being anti-poor.
In an official release of the party, Mr Rajak said the proposal of Nitish government to acquire 7.4 acre of land for jail security near Beur Central Jail here would hurt the sentiments of hundreds of poor families as it took them several years to build their own houses.
'' If the government goes for demolition drive in the area, the hard work of the poors would go in vain and it will hurt them,'' Mr Rajak added.
He said, '' Neither the survey report of the government had objected the registration of land nor PRDA had stayed the mapping last year. The demolition drive of the site is totally unjustifed,'' he observed.
