Groundnutseed, its oil

Mumbai, Jun 19 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed, its oil and refined palm oil today remained steady on moderate demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils, groundnut oil and refined palm oil remained steady on moderate demand. Sunflower Exp. Ref, cottonseed refined, rice bran and linseed rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg on speculative buying by stockists, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed, javas 70/80, javas 80/90 remained steady.

Brown 48/3 and Brown 48/4 and sunflowerseed increased by Rs 100 per quintal each owing to good demand by stockists.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonnes), except undec cottonseed exp others remained flat on scattered buying by stockists.

Undec cottonseed declined by Rs 100 per tonne owing to sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders added.
