Councillor's son fired from job in Andaman

Port Blair, Jun 19 (UNI) The Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) has cancelled the service of Mr Shanmuganathan, son of Mrs Parmeshawari, one sitting Councillor of the Council.

Shanmuganathan has been fired from the post of Junior Engineer of PBMC.

The decision was taken following a recent direction of High Court to cancel the job of Shanmuganathan and one more Junior Engineer, as huge discrepancy was found in the selection process of these two Junior Engineers,sources in PBMC said today.
