Badal condoles death of Chander Kanta
Ludhiana, Jun 19 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today visited the house of Mr Harish Bedi, MLA, at Janakpuri and condoled the death of his mother Chander Kanta.
Expressing his sympathy with the bereaved family of Mrs Chander Kanta, who expired a few days back, the Chief Minister said that she was a noble soul who had been engaged in the religious and social services throughout her life and also serving the needy poor people with full devotion.
Mr Badal said that the demise of such persons was an irreparable loss not only to their families but to the entire society. "We must dedicate ourselves to follow their foot steps to serve the people earnestly and honestly", he added.
