Ashok Chawla gets additional charge of I

New Delhi, Jun 19 (UNI) Mr Ashok Chawla, Secretary, Civil Aviation Ministry, has been given the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mrs Asha Swarup, the incumbent Secretary, I&Broadcasting Ministry, has been repatriated to her parent cadre Himachal Pradesh, an official note said.

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) also repatriated Mr Raghubir Singh, (IA&AS-1972 batch), Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes, to his parent cadre.
